I was going thru a cookbook and found these cocktails.I usually serve Bloody Marys as guest come in before dinner,but think I will surprise my guest!
Pumpkin pie Martini : serves 2
2oz. vanilla vodka(1/4 cup)
2 oz. creme de caco (1/4 cup)
1/4 tsp.heavy cream
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
whipped cream(garnish)
Fill cocktail shakes 1/2 way with ice cubes
Add the vodka,creme de coca,heavy cream and pumpkin pie spice, and shake well.
Dip the rims of martini glasses into a bowl of whipped cream.Strain the cocktail in to glasses.
This just has to be delicious and a keeper!
Cranberry- Raspberry Sangria....serves 6
48oz. cranberry raspberry juice cocktail
750 mi.red wine(dry full-bodied spanish)
2 tsp. grand marneir
1/4 cup sugar
1 orange..thinly sliced
1 lemon ..thinly sliced
1 cup cranberries..or fresh,fresh raspberries
1 cup chilled club soda
Combine first 4 ingredients in a large pitcher, stirring
until sugar dissolves.
Taste at this point and if you want it a little sweeter,
add a little bit more sugar.
Add fruit slices and cranberies; cover and chill at
least 8 hours.
Stir in clud sode and ice cubes just before serving.
This would be a wonderfull way to start the holidays!Enjoy!
